Students and faculty are invited to attend a workshop on Power BI sponsored by the Data Hub Club.
Jenny Collins, Senior Project Manager at BAE Systems will present an introductory workshop on the use of Power BI on Wednesday, April 16th at noon in Kettler 218. Power BI is a data visualization platform that can be used to report and visualize data in a variety of forms. The workshop will be hands-on, with an opportunity to use the tools on a variety of sample data sets. Feel free to bring your laptop or use one of the PCs in Kettler 218 to create your visualizations. Snacks will be provided by the Data Hub Club.
Please RSVP to datahubclub@pfw.edu by Tuesday, April 15th to receive the sample data sets in advance of the workshop.

Come learn how the actuaries at the MedPro Group use Alteryx to harness data for analytical decision-making. IPFW alum Kenda Sanderson will show us how the Alteryx software enhances productivity and is also fun to use.

Data Hub Club event on Monday, January 27th at 12:00 - 1:15 pm in Science Building G24. Data Scientists from Central Insurance in Van Wert, Ohio will be providing a pizza lunch for students and presenting info about the field as well as data science at Central Insurance. One of the presenters is PFW alumnus Saviour Avorgah.
