Professors Coffman and Dragnev were two of the co-organizers for the 2018 Midwestern Workshop on Asymptotic Analysis at Indiana University Bloomington October 5–7. Alan Legg, visiting assistant professor of mathematics, gave an invited talk, Quadrature Domains and Equilibrium on the Sphere.

The 2018 Midwest Graph Theory Conference - MIGHTY LX - was at PFW Sept. 28-29.

Jeong-il Cho, assistant professor of education; Yihao Deng, associate professor of math; Kawther Hamash, assistant professor of nursing; Koichiro Otani, professor of public policy; and Nila Reimer, assistant professor of nursing presented the study Data-Driven Approach to Identify Influential Factors of Student Evaluations of Teaching in a University Nursing Program on September 22 at the Alumni Center.
