Abroad Study - Nepal
I believe in inspiring students through practical hands-on teaching, encouragement, and guiding them in their own research. Study abroad programs offer students the opportunity to learn from hands-on experience. I have mentored several study abroad programs for students from the United States, Japan, and Thailand, and I love to create these programs that focus on Southeast Asia.

In 2011, Ken Hirayama from Hokkaido University, Japan traveled to Nepal with me. Besides leaning about Nepalese culture, tradition and environment, he actively participated in my field work. Ken support in transferring temperature data from loggers was very helpful.
In this pic Ken is standing with my friend Raju Bista, and field guides (Sher Bahadur Ghimire and Khadga Gurung) on the way to Barun valley.
