Mentoring
I have had numerous opportunities as a graduate student to teach and mentor undergraduate students in various high impact learning experiences research projects related to alpine treeline dynamics, climate change perception, tree-ring climate response, and fiber optics cable database and network management. I have also supervised graduate and undergraduate students from Japan, Thailand, and the United States in study abroad programs in Nepal that were sponsored by their respective universities. I have mentors more than 40 undergraduate students in various research projects and they have presented their work in local, regional, and national conferences.
