Purpose
"Vietnamese Student Association is a club dedicated to preserving Vietnamese culture, instilling a sense of community among those interested in learning about Vietnamese heritage and tradition regardless of race or ethnic group. VSA promote the awareness of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American history in addition to the sharing of Vietnamese language, stories, holidays, and cuisine. They strive to foster diversity and inclusivity within Oxford Academy, encouraging the discussion and exchange of current issues affecting the Vietnamese community around the world.

Description: VSA holds presentations, games, and storytimes, spreading information about Vietnamese culture and tradition and providing students opportunities to learn about the Vietnamese community. During meetings, VSA encourages discussions to raise awareness about Vietnamese history and the issues that affect the Vietnamese community around the world. Students also enjoy bonding time and fun during activities, potlucks, and holiday seasons, getting to taste a piece of Vietnamese culture and cuisine.
Grades: All grades are welcome!
