Purpose
Cyber Security Club is a club that aims to improve cybersecurity awareness and skills within Oxford Academy. It trains students in both basic and advanced cybersecurity skills, from defending networks to removing security flaws within Windows, Linux, and Cisco systems, as well as general computer skills, in order to compete in various cybersecurity competitions and keep themselves safe.

Description: Cyber Security's Club main event for the first half of the year is the national CyberPatriot competition, where teams of up to five compete to find and eliminate as many flaws as they can within multiple virtual systems. Through weekly trainings with students and mentors from Cypress College, members learn everything from securing passwords to stopping advanced hacking tools. We also hope to participate in more cybersecurity events during offseason while bonding with teammates and the entire club! Join us to learn more about cybersecurity and compete alongside your friends!
Grades: All grades are welcome!
Meeting day/time: Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:45-8:25 AM
