Art Club's mission is to offer activities for artists to improve their skills and to provide a space for students to collaborate, communicate, and bond with each other through art projects. No matter who you are or what grade you're in, Art Club is open to all students, including students who want to pursue art professionally and students who just want to do art on a casual basis. Art Club hopes to provide a community for students on campus to explore different forms of creative expression.
Description: Art Club members meet weekly to participate in art projects presented by board members. Art projects range from crafts, such as making friendship bracelets and decorating cookies, to painting, which includes methods such as watercolor and calligraphy. Members can learn about the history of a variety of artists and artistic methods along with different techniques and skills artists use. Art Club also hosts bonding events and potlucks during the year.
Grades: All grades are welcome!
Meeting day/time: Fridays during lunch
Meeting location: Mrs. Handson's Room (305)
