Purpose
Model United Nations strives to envision a world comprised of civically engaged people who strive for peaceful, multilateral conflict resolution and equitable, sustainable human development. Through MUN, students will gain a better understanding of the inner workings of the United Nations. Building skills in diplomacy, compromise, and decision, MUN will empower students to voice their opinions on current world issues and make changes to solve for such problems.

Description: Model United Nations trains students to work as the representative of a country, organization, or a person within the UN to solve problems with other delegates around the world. By teaching participants skills such as research, public speaking, debating, and leadership, MUN attends monthly conferences in various schools near Oxford to build delegates' skills as a UN member.
Grades: All grades are welcome!
