Rebranded as Spotlight, Oxford Academy's Theatre Club was established in 2019, centering on all things theatre and performing arts. The club aims to expose members to the theatrical arts, from actors to planning to the technological work behind the scenes. Whether you are a seasoned actor or techie, this club’s mission is focused on giving everyone a chance to step into the spotlight.

Description: The mission of Spotlight is to educate members on the aspects of acting, character building, public speaking and theatre concepts all while incorporating fun and humor to create an entertaining and relaxed environment for members to show off their creativity and drama skills as well as build their confidence for shows. Throughout the process of directing, filming, blocking, and producing a show, the club explores every concept to help everyone find a niche in the performing and/or tech world.
Grades: All grades are welcome!
Meeting day/time: Tuesdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30.
