Creative Writing Club (CWC) aims to inspire passion for the written word by demonstrating the applications and significance of creative writing tools beyond academics. CWC hopes to establish a safe and fun community for students to freely express themselves, develop confidence, and improve their technical writing skills.
Description: Creative Writing Club encourages students to nurture a passion for writing with weekly activities such as story-telling, analyzing great fiction, and collaborating on pieces with peers. Each meeting begins with a presentation on various genres, mediums, and topics; then members are encouraged to explore new information by engaging in fun activities. There's no evaluation, no stress—just good times! Members are encouraged to submit pieces for CWC's anthology collection, which will be showcased on social media.
