Abstract

Due to the depletion of fossil fuels and increasing pollution renewable energy devices have become one of the most researched area. Fuel cell is one of those technologies to be the potential future technology to bring a major change in the oil economy as well as in automobile industry as it basically deals with hydrogen and oxygen with zero emission to produce electricity and water. Cyclic Voltammetry along with other electrochemical techniques can give an insight in order to choose the materials for all the components of the fuel cells as well as to assess the efficiency of fuel cell. So, here I aim to explain the mechanism of the fuel cell with the help of basic electrochemical techniques and also the analysis of the electrochemical data in order to choose the potential materials for an efficient fuel cells.
