Open Seminar Series (OSS) is a forum where students and scholars give talks on any academic topic they like. It could be part of their work, an interesting paper they read, or a computational/experimental technique they use, etc. The audience comprises students, so that we can have candid discussions during the talks.

We encourage speakers from diverse academic backgrounds, so that someone who works on nuclear physics can learn about medical ethics, someone studying climate change can get an overview of string theory, and so on.

The length of each talk is usually 40-45 min followed by 10-15 min of Q&A.

If you would like to present something, please feel free to contact us.

You can check details of our old talks here or check out our Facebook page.
