Ingredients: Choose 4-6 from the following:
· Small bunch spring onions
· 75g mushrooms
· 1 packet baby corn
· 1 – 2 peppers (red/orange/green/yellow)
· 50g raisins
· 2 leeks
· Small bunch of French beans
· Small tin of bamboo shoots
· Small tin of water chestnuts
· 1 packet mange tout
· 8 – 10 broccoli florets
· Small tin of red kidney beans
· 3 sticks of celery
· Small tin of sweetcorn
· Small tin of peas
· Small packet of bean sprouts
· Small can of pineapple chunks
· 2 carrots
· For the flavourings choose from:
· 2 cloves of garlic
· 3 tbsp. soy sauce
· 1 tsp herbs
· Stir fry cube
· Sweet and sour sauce
· Black bean sauce
· You will also need:
· 2/3 tbsps oil
· Fresh noodles (optional)
· A tub to take it away in
Method
1. Wash all vegetables using a colander in the sink.
2. Peel and chop all vegetables into equal sizes. Try chopping some vegetables into julienne.
3. Open any cans and drain appropriately.
4. Get large sauce pan or large pan and put 1 tbsp of oil. Put on medium heat.
5. Place hard vegetables in first to fry and soften. Stir occasionally For 5 minutes. Place remaining vegetables in.
6. Add and stir in spices, herbs and sauces etc. until all vegetables are coated. Add noodles if using.
7. Place the pan on a heat mat. Pour into container to take home. Leave lid off to cool the stir fry.
