Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients:
2 skinless chicken breasts (Quorn alternative for Vegetarians)
1 egg
125g dried breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried herbs/ spices of choice
Method:
1.Pre-heat oven to 180C/ gas mark 7
2.Crack the egg into a jug and mix white and yolk together using a fork.
3.Put the bread crumbs into a small bowl.
4.Add your spices and or herbs to crumbs
5.On a RED board- cut the chicken into even sized pieces using a kitchen knife.
6.Mix the cut chicken into the egg with the to coat it.
7.Then cover in the breadcrumbs to ENROBE.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7.
8.Place spaced apart onto Lined tray.
9.Bake in the oven for about 15 mins until golden and 73+°C/ White through.
Variations:
Try coating with stuffing mix to add different flavours!
