12 Days of Techmas
AI Edition - Day 4
Goblin Tools
On the fourth day of Techmas, I am excited to start sharing AI tools that you can use to assist you with completing tasks and even some to help your students. My favorite part of today's tool is it helps me break my To-Do List down into manageable tasks.
Goblin Tools is a collection of small, simple, single-task tools that can assist you with tasks that many find overwhelming or difficult. This resource is great for those that are neurodivergent, have ADHD, procrastinate, or simple have trouble getting started on tasks.
Check out this video by Eric Curts on Goblin Tools.
One of my Favorite Features on Goblin Tools - Magic To-Do
My favorite feature on Goblin Tools is the Magic To-Do. If you are anything like me, I sometimes feel like I have so much going on and not sure where to start. This feature allows me to create my to-do list and even helps me break down the tasks that I am struggling to get started with or even procrastinating on.
How Can You Use Goblin Tools - Specifically Magic To-Do as a Teacher?
Have Goblin Tools help you manage your to-do list and break tasks down into managable smaller tasks.
How Can You Use Goblin Tools with Students?
Magic ToDo is a great resource for those students that struggle managing what they need to do or those that have trouble getting started. This would be a great tool for helping them learn skills to manage their time and completing assignments.
The other tools are just as awesome and useful as the Magic ToDo.
Check out a few of the others in action.
Want to earn CEUs for participating in this year's 12 Days of Techmas? It is easy!
Each day there will be a task to complete based on the tool for that day. Complete the Form below and share your completed task. At the end of the 12 Days of Techmas you will receive a certificate for the days you participated in. If you complete all 12 tasks you can earn 3 hours of renewal credit.
Your Day 4 task is to pick one of the tools in Goblin Tools to try out. You can pick any of them. Think about a task that you would like to have a little extra help with.
To get credit for today's task, create a document where you briefly explain which tool you chose from the Goblin Tools website. How did you use it? Did you find the response helpful? How could you use this as a teacher completing daily tasks, planning your course, assisting students? Could you think of any ways you could use this with students?
To submit your Day 4 task, complete the 12 Days of Techmas CEU Form
Don't have time to work on today's task? That's okay! You can work on these throughout the holiday break and January.
