12 Days of Techmas
Day 2
Custom Sticky Notes
On this second day of Techmas, lets talk about making custom sticky notes.
Believe it or not, these are alot easier to create than you might realize.
This idea is a fun way to create custom notes to use in your classroom. It could be a brain dump sticky, to-do lists, motivational quotes, formula reminders, a coordinate plane, study tips, tickets out the door, writing rubrics, cooperative learning activities, and so much more.
If you can think it, you can put it on a sticky. I have used them to share links with my students for assignments, to remind them of tasks to complete during the day with check boxes, and even used them for schedules with some of my students that needed that structure to tell them what activities would be happening that day.

Custom Sticky Notes I use when we get a new student. It also helps me to make sure I don't miss sharing information they need with them.

To-Do List for people like me that live by Sticky Notes! These help me stay organized!

How it works:
Download or create a template that fits the sticky notes you want to print on
Design your sticky notes to fit the template (I use Google Slides and the Template from Tony Vincent - below)
Print your Guide Sheet (this is what you will place your sticky notes on to print on them)
Place your sticky notes on the guide sheet in the center of each box on the template/guide sheet
Make sure that the sticky side is at the top and will go in the printer first (if the loose side is at the top it will cause a paper jam)
Insert your paper into the printer (be sure you know which way to place it - printers are all different - Note if you need help ask!)
In Google Slides Click "File" - "Print Settings and Preview"
Click Hide Background
Print the pages you want from your template!
Ta-Da! You have Custom Sticky Notes!
