Key for the identification of British Cleridae

There are 15 species of this family on the British list but several of these have not been recorded for over 100 years and so are presumed extinct. Many of the species are rarely encountered although a few are reasonably frequent. The key below should allow identification for all fifteen species. This key includes Dermestoides sanguinicollis which has been recently added to the British List by Asaw & Barclay (2018)
