๐ก Keep Updates Timely: Submit progress updates as soon as site/work milestones are achieved to keep project S-Curves and manager dashboards accurate.
๐ก Use Subtasks for Actionable Steps: Keep primary tasks high-level (Level-1 WBS) and use subtasks for daily/weekly operational steps to keep project timelines organized.
Q1: What happens to a parent task's progress when all subtasks are marked 100% complete?
A: Lynx PMIS automatically calculates parent task completion based on the weighted sum of its subtasks. When all subtasks reach 100%, the parent task automatically marks itself as Completed.
Q2: Can a task be assigned to multiple team members?
A: Each task has one primary Assignee for core accountability, but additional team members can be added as Collaborators to receive updates and post comments.
