Widely regarded by outsiders as the capital of Caradhys, Trion Ma is a bustling, multi-cultural and welcoming port city. The city is strangely spread out along the coast, making the city very long but narrow – several miles long but leading only 1 mile inland. The whole city is girded by a very high and reinforced wall manned by a full garrison of the Bowhands.
The walls of Trion Ma rise up out of the waves like cliffs, towering over the busy city. The wharves are alive with creaking timbers, different languages and cultures. You can see the walls surrounding the city, impenetrable and immovable, culminating in a heavily guarded gatehouse atop which sits the Governor’s Office. There are several green clad Bowhands watching and helping with the unloading or loading of docked ships and keeping the crowd moving. In the air, the smell of the sea combines with the scent of curing timbers and lumberyards slightly further down the coast.
Population: Approximately 24000; mostly elf, some half-elf, some other races but very minimal representation. No dwarves.
Import/export: Imports: Haldorian wine, carpets, livestock. Exports: lumber, weaponry, religion
Language: Common is the most widely known and used language here, though the hand language of the Elven military is prevalent as well.
Religion/s: a wide variety of religions are followed here due to the transitory nature of the population.
Trion Ma is governed by an older male elf called Vaerin Fesran, who has been ruling this city for 200 years.
The War Merchant: The cluttered shop of a female elf weapon merchant named Nima, known for her collection of strange and exotic blades. It is rumored that the weapons are those of fallen warriors, stolen from distant battlefields by dark magic.
You must have a signed pass to go beyond the Gate here.
There are temples to most gods but there is a massive emerald castle to Sylvanus in the East of the city, facing the State Hall in the West.
The Wishing Well: A deep shaft in the ground, surrounded by a short stone wall. It is said that there exists one particular coin in town, and that whoever casts it into the well will be granted their wish.
The Guildhall: A grand half-timbered building, decorated with brightly dyed pennons. It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms, and is shared amongst several local merchant guilds.
