Lively content includes entertainment and lifestyles modules, comics, puzzles and advice columns. Pages are designed by a designated Lively designer.
Note: Pages will not be marked “Content Ready” in RPM. When pages are ready to be placed on the local pages, they will appear in the Lively shared content folder.
Proofs go straight to 2nd to be reviewed by the Design Center.
Budgets are provided on a google sheet.
Build all pages in the news.lee.net domain.
Pub code: LEE_LIVE
Template: IN6-20-3-day
Date: use date pages will publish
Section letter: Z
Page number: Check the budget to see the page number that you design will go on.
Cover: The National Newsroom will select a pre-built module for the cover. Adjust design to fit the page and add the Lively flag. The flag can be found in the ZLE snippets.
When completed, proof to the National Newsroom using the PDF to shared content folders.
After approval from the National Newsroom
Remove the domain from the document.
Package the pages to the Munster shared content folder using the date, LIVE, page number and description. Ex: 040423_LIVE_PAGE1_FOODCOVER
For pre-built full page shared content pages that will run in this section (Ex. Books, Pets, etc.)
Create the appropriate Z page and copy the shared module to your new page. Check for updated style changes (kickers, box refer and factbox text)
Add the appropriate page label (Lively, Day Comics & Puzzles, TV & Advice, etc.)
Save to the Lively shared content folder using naming convention above.
Daily designers will copy shared pages to the site’s pages when the appear in the shared content folder. Make sure you have a file in the folder for each page for that edition.
The Lively flag is built without the teaser options seen in previous sections.
The flag can be moved around the page so that it works best with the provided content. You can change the color of the flag to fit with the art.
