HORSES: Nice choice to shorten the headline by adding the location to the kicker. The lighter font choice and decision to move the headline under the action shot of the horses running really allows the story to tell itself.
OLYMPICS: The choice of the lighter headline font here with an inquisitive rewrite really lend to the intrigue of trying something new with AI. You did an excellent job capturing what the story was about.
TALLADEGA: Good work sticking with a big and bold exciting headline. Moving the location into the kicker gave you room to play the head up larger.
HORSES: Using up dead space in photos is a good way to lend weight to headlines. In this instance the lighter font is harder to read and somewhat distracting from the action in the photo. A simple solution would be to run it under the art and let the photo take the dominant position of the package.
STURGEONS: The rewrite for this headline pairs well with the weight of it. Nicely done gradually decreasing size down, leading the reader into the story.
OLYMPICS: Clever headline. The lighter choice of font for the main head with the all caps keeps the focus but eases up on the intensity of the topic. Our deckhead in this instance is a bit redundant to the main head but a few word swaps would fix that.
TALLADEGA: This story definitely warrants the big and bold headline choice, however, one deck would have sufficed here. The kicker could have included the location to eliminate that second deck.
