WOO/MSC- Action plan in progress.
Check in with site channels for assigned publications at the beginning of your shifts even on E-Edition days.
Read budgets carefully and ask questions when you're unclear
Keep eyes on early content ready - address complex pages first if possible
ONG/SCA- Editor denied check-in on account of things are hunky dory.
OAN/DOT- Editor denied check-in on account of everything and everyone is wonderful.
WAC/BCS- Editor denied check-in on account of things are hunky dory.
MIS MISS- Laura Scheer says everyone is great to work with and there is no need for a check-in.
SSH MARKETS- The shared markets module comes out later than this deadline so the site provides the elements to place manually and it takes some time. DON'T WAIT TO DO THIS PAGE if you can get it started.
BLM/DEC/MAT- The site is working to share similar layouts with ads so they can share more content between publications. Don't forget to mark those pages shared. Make a habit of checking out how many pages are missing budgets and content at the 2 and 1 hour deadline mark for these publications to keep track of content flow for reporting.
KHP/YNT/GII- Whenever possible get obits placed early and proofed if not waiting on jumps or other content. Please note any proofing issues until it is resolved.
LCH- Look for content ready pages the day before production on Sunday and Thursday nights. Anything done the day before helps the cluttered deadline window the next day.
NC GROUP- HDR/STA/MNH/MMN/CIT/MOT- Aim to get 90% of their content in the day prior to production date. Keep eyes out for it.
KHP/YNT/GII- RPM folder access has been finicky and is being looked into by CORP IT. They unfortunately continue to proof through Teams as a result.
CSE/FLS- Combining pages does not work properly without some tinkering with domains. Currently neither are a live segmentation site so it's okay to continue using the Dead jumps function.
NC GROUP- Looking into getting more sports extras moved early on print days.
HEL/BUT- Getting late content from reporters with unknown lengths. We've provided some planning tips and requested partial budgets to help with turnaround.
COL DCBP/SCHU- Newsroom is looking to implement internal deadlines to improve content flow which will hopefully result in improved plate flow and deadline performance.
