E-edition procedures
1. Find out if your site has local content or local obituaries (if applicable). Reach out to the site channel for your site (or the finishing desk for BAR, PTG, BDM, WOO or MSC) and ask if they have local stories for their e-edition. Also, check the RPM notes for your pages to see if the editor put in a budget. Local content can go on 1, 2, 3 (obits) 4 (weather) if the site needs the space.
2. Proof the local content to the site as soon as possible. The local content should be proofed to the site through RPM or Teams by no later than 7 p.m.
3. Finish the A1/A2 pages by using the Shared E-edition A1 content and jump (if necessary). You will fill any open spots left on your A1 by using the Shared A1 Cover and Jump shared content. The Shared Cover and Jump document will also include additional filler stories for the jump page if needed. Pages A1 and A2 should be sent to 1st proof out.

4. Proof Obits page A3, Weather Page A4. Obits: Place paid obits on this page and fill any remaining space with filler ads located in the site's folder: Standing Art - Filler - Obits Page. If no obits are available for that edition, place the full page marketing ad located in the same folder mentioned above.
If there are local obits, proof to 1st proof out.
Weather: If there is a locally budgeted story, place under the weather map and fill with plug ads as needed. If there is no story, put in a plug ad.
5. Class Partials: If there is one, move from Partial Class folder to either Received or Process. Then place and sent to 2nd proof out. If there is none there should be no page. If there's a page ask CS if there's a partial coming.
Nation/World and other O pages as shown above will now upload automatically. There will be no page dummies and no need to design them.
Use A1 e-edition and cover modules only for the e-editions. An A1 e-edition snippet will be in the site’s snippet folder. It includes the flag and a stripped down version of the bottom furniture element. Billboards will not be used on these covers.
