The core purpose of the project is to develop sustainable, active and symbiotic learning spaces through the Kalaunjar government school and Youth Resource Center to support individuals in realising their potential and developing essential skills. These learning spaces will facilitate positive dialogue, co-creation and knowledge sharing among different stakeholders using technology as a tool.
The intervention was designed to develop the capacity of the teachers, children and community members to take ownership towards the school and transform it into a resource hub for the larger community and other schools. Nurturing innovation in teaching, learning methodologies, developing self motivated learners, teachers as reflective practitioners and active community members contributing towards school development were some of the goals achieved.
The youth was enabled to explore, learn and act with purpose contributing actively to the development of self, school and the community. The youth in the community will adopt more informed career decision making practices and develop pathways for personal and professional career growth.
While every story is different and deserves to be told, this section highlights a selected few to give a range of narratives.
