John 14:26

Isaiah 45:15
Our God Hides
15 Truly you are a God who hides himself,
O God and Savior of Israel.
Jesus is the Word and the Word became flesh...Jesus, the Word, became a man, a Divine Man...St. John, His Twelve Disciples, and many others around Israel were eyewitnesses to His Majesty...And because Jesus said and did many things that no man had ever done before or has done since, make us believe that He is the Son of God...He was a very wise man, an incredibly-knowledgeable man, a very good man, a man who was always helping others, a man whose whole life was centered around God, His Father...A wise knowledgeable man, a good man, a man who helps others, and follows God -He would not be a liar...He could not lie about something and be One with God...One could not lie and continually teach about God...Then He would not be a wise man...
When we search for truth, and if our thoughts and minds are influenced by TV and movies, then CSI and other mysteries come to mind...We watch CSI and other mysteries from start to finish watch the workers and stars (of the show) gather clues, and in the end have a clear understanding of the truth...We are influenced by shows and readings such as CSI, and things like this...We seem to start out with some unrelated facts, get many more small and separate truths along the way, and then at the end of the book, or article, movie, or TV show have come to our own set of facts, our own truth...The writers make truth look simple and clear...This is what happened and this is the truth of what has happened...
For a few, I think have read the Bible like this...They start out with the Old Testament, with its history, wisdom, and prophetic books, then read the New Testament and gospels about Jesus, follow them up with St. Paul's arguments and believe in the Father and Son...They have found the truth...However, I don't think most find The Truth, the same way TV and the movies go about it...We find that truth, those truths are always found in the one hour episode, or two hour movie...
I, personally, do not even think God wants us to find Him that way...He wants us to search, and search long, sometimes very long...Sometimes He wants us to search for Him our entire lives...Truly He is a God who hides Himself...When One as wise, and knowledgeable and Divine (as He is) wants to hide -They can...We don't have the wisdom of Jesus, so how could we ever find Him, unless He came to dwell among us...How would we know Him, without a Holy Spirit in us?...
It seems TV and movies teach us a little bit about truth, and go about it in a way when we step back and view the facts, we find truth...The TV and movie writers make it like two plus two equals four...Truth looks simple...We can go back in our minds or VCRs or DVRs and say this fact, plus this fact plus this truth makes it certain and now I know the truth about what happened...But when a Man steps up and says He is Truth, then things change, everything changes on how you view this Truth...Man, especially this Man is more than a mind giving out great wisdom...This Man, the Son of Man loves us...He had the organs, the nerve endings, the feelings, and even the anxieties of man, of me...Truth then cannot be figured out in a one hour or a two hour setting...This Truth is not something that is finite, and is finished...The episode or movie is over and we now know the truth...This Person is alive, this is not a finite episode, but our lives...He is eternal, and teaches us the eternities...Not only are we learning about this life, but the next one-our eternal life... When you believe this you understand better why this Truth is more complicated, and not so clear...You understand that He is the Way, the Way to Eternal Life, but because He knows that it is better for us to have the Holy Spirit, instead on Him on earth, and that He hides -the Truth becomes clear and not so clear...
