This is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
If you believe that Jesus is the Truth, and He was who He said He was there is a necessity to believe...I guess it would not be necessary if you do not want eternal life, and you are happy with your life on earth, and happy with the way you have lived, and are prepared and ready to die...But He gives us eternal life...And He tells us that eternal life is to know God, and the One He sent...
God created the world and man, and gave us Jesus -who died for us on the cross...He is our Golden Key to eternal life...He is the very hope for our soul that someday, at the end of the ages He will bring peace to this world...He will bring peace to our souls...
The verses tell the story...God's Plan from the very beginning was LOVE, because He is LOVE...We are to seek Him with our hearts, and know Him from the Bible, or other believers, or by inquiry, or other means...He was with Jesus, who St. John calls the Word, from the beginning...The Word is the Truth to all Things...God sent His Son into our world not to be mad at us or condemn us, but to save us...Jesus tells us He came to earth not for the righteous, but for us sinners so we must realize that we do sin)...Jesus was put to death, by the very ones He came to save...Jesus died on the cross for our sins...They buried Him, and three days later He resurrected from the dead...He was dead, but now He is alive forever and ever...When we believe in Him our sins are forgiven...The key to eternal life is to know God, and that He Loves the world, and whoever believes in Him and the One He sent is saved...We shall have eternal life when we know these things...
And if you believe that you are created in God's Image and God is Spirit, then you are Spiritual creature...So, we are inherently created to believe in God...
