The baked map of the sci-fi floor. The middle path did not turn up as expected and the bumps didn't turn up as expected. The sci-fi circles on the path turned out as expected and baked well.
If i was to redo the sci-fi floor, i would make the original 3D and create bumps in the vertical lines. To fix some assets not picking up, I would bevel of the edges more, also making the lighting improved for the map.
I created a scifi floor and baked it using maya and xnormal. The model was very 2D to begin with.
