How distribution transformers have their own sustainable role to play in the age of energy transition (Read the Blog here)

What the student said:

Working with Eaton has helped me grow professionally, intellectually, and creatively. Writing and researching renewable energy and its applications have allowed me to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of renewable energy, and how we can find ways to integrate it into our grid with less difficulty. Working with the engineering and marketing team was a great setup to help me grow. I learned technical details about Eaton's products and renewables in engineering and went to the marketing department to convert the information to a marketable product. This helped me learn about how departments work in Eaton and I enjoyed it very much. Despite COVID-19 making many things virtual, I am very happy about my experience and have learned a lot in my internship.

IiVP Alumnus Stanley Peng

What the mentor said:

Stanley Peng supported Eaton in the Electrical Systems and Solutions business unit. He is reliable, disciplined and can work well in a professional work environment. He has successfully authored technical research papers on renewable energy and his blog article on "How distribution transformers can play their own sustainable role in the era of energy transition" was published on our website. Stanley showed great interest in our projects and is eager to learn and understand how power distribution works in detail. He is proactive and collaborated closely with our marketing and engineering department. We are very happy he chose us for his internship.

What we say:

Congratulations to Stanley Peng for this great success! We are very proud of our alumnus and his achievements. We would like to thank Eaton for the exceptionally good cooperation and the committed mentorship-work.
