Description: Participants learn about methods/instruments to analyze anti-Muslim racism in political campaigns/speech. Examples of anti-Muslim racism and its public responses/consequences in Austria, the EU, and the US will be compared.

Identify anti-Muslim campaigns by American top-level political parties from 2019 to 2020.
Which categories of anti-Muslim racism can be identified in these campaigns?
Comparison between Austria and the US: Where are overlaps? Where are differences?
What are current US and EU actions to combat anti-Muslim hatred?
