Research on & Testing of UI/UX Features as Factors of increased Sales on Online Store Landing Pages
Mentor: Florian Fazekas, CEO of Fuchsfabrik
Description: Due to the massively increased usage of e-commerce solutions in 2020 we want to explore how specific UI/UX features have an impact on buying decisions. With the help of research, questionnaires, and A/B testing students will deduct what is key for an online shopping success story.
The student’s engagement in the project serves the following questions:
Are there known success stories of emerging brands that have implemented specific online store features to boost their sales of a specific product?
Are special product presentations such as interactive 3D models boosting usage time as well as conversion rates?
Which elements could be A/B tested (while working on a specific project) & which data needs to be analyzed for them?
In general, which features can be defined for emerging e-commerce brands that they could use to increase their online sales?
The work includes weekly tasks related to the questions and meetings every week with the mentor and Fuchsfabrik’s team to discuss new insights and sharpen research/data. The project concludes with an oral group presentation and a final research report about the process used to answer the questions and the results.
