Description: Eaton is a power management company made up of over 92,000 employees, doing business in more than 175 countries. The energy-efficient products and services help their customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably.
The participants will create one- to two-page papers on up to three topics concerning the impact of renewable energy integration on medium voltage distribution grids. The topics center around how automation and protection requirements are impacted by renewable energy, with focus on the application of inverters, batteries, and smart relays.
The participants will do desk research, design simulation and validation, and connect with technical experts across the whole EMEA region in order to write the papers. The papers will then be presented to the team.
Afterwards, the participants will see how the knowledge and research is applied: the marketing department will create blog entries out of their own input. The participants will act as experts on their researched topics, and support the marketing department through providing a technical view. At the end of the project, the participants will present their findings to leadership.
