Deso Weiss Award

The Deso Weiss Award for excellence in the field of cluttering is awarded to an individual for contributions in clinical service, supervision, teaching, administration, research, support group activity, or any other activity which has promoted the quality of life for individuals who clutter. The award is sponsored by the Stuttering Foundation

2018 Kathleen Scaler Scott (Hiroshima, Joint World Congress on Stuttering and Cluttering)

2022 Klaas Bakker (Montreal, Joint World Congress on Stuttering and Cluttering)

2023 Isabella Reichel (Katowice, 3rd World Conference on Cluttering)


The award will be given again in 2024 during The 2024 World Congress on Stuttering and Cluttering in Austin, Texas (USA). The recipient of the Award is encouraged to be present at the conference. In the event this is not possible, the Committee will nonetheless bestow the award to the recipient.
