When Chelsea gets in trouble with her new friends, she’s punished by having to work for her ghost busting Dad for the summer. The catch– Chelsea can actually see ghosts, while her dad uses homemade equipment to exorcize spirits. While working with him to clear a fancy former plantation, she meets a ghost named Oliver and comes to realize they can’t just send him to the great beyond, pitting Chelsea and her father against each other. This lushly illustrated graphic novel delivers, history hand in hand with quirky charm.
