History of the
The Green Mountain Book Award is designed for young adults in high school. Each year thousands of Vermont school children read the 15 nominated novels and vote for their favorite in the spring. The award has been handed out, inspiring young adults to enthusiastically read annually, since the 2005-2006 school year.
