Project Nought

Project Nought

Chelsey Furedi

Clarion Books

When high schooler Ren gets on a bus in the year 1996 to meet a pen pal, he doesn’t expect his next stop to be over one hundred years into the future. He finds himself unknowingly part of an “exchange program”—in which 90’s teens are exchanged with those from the year 2122 for a historical project. As Ren makes friends in the future, though, he learns there might be more to this program than simply research purposes. This charmingly illustrated graphic novel is a futuristically whimsical tale of corrupt government, sci-fi fun, found family and a hint of romance.
