Global Arts PTA Meeting Minutes 

Last Meeting: 10/09/23 at 6pm 

October Treasurer's Report

Topics of Discussion:

• Givebacks membership site

  • Gives back to PTA via due

• Need for auditor for PTA Taxes

• PTA open to ideas for how it can spend money

  • Money last year went to Carnival, spirit wear, Frogtown, teacher conferences

• Discussion of Square One Art

• Connect with Courtney or Berit for community planning

• Budgets for current year were made last year

• Added funding for lower campus clothes

• Discussion of donations for coat closet

• Resource people for teachers needed

• Need volunteers for day of activities

• Looking for grants for Upper Campus artist residencies

• Fundraising needed for field at Lower Campus

• Looking for parent volunteers during the day

• Middle school bathrooms being vandalized

• Working on fencing in playground in the Spring

• Please fill out free/reduced paperwork

• Principal Jones needs a clerk

• One 5th grade classroom was removed
