Secretary’s Report - Maureen Mullaney Vu (PTA secretary)

Stephanie Stegeman - Motion to approve. Seconded by Meghan

Stephanie Stegeman - Motion to approve. Kate C.

Jim Bierma - from support staff view. Things continue to improve and get better. Getting fewer calls on the walky talkies. Fewer conflicts. Since it got better before Winter Break it has continued to improve and get better after winter break. The teachers are doing such a nice job. Team effort of administrators and teaching staff. PBIS team is doing school lessons. Hispanic heritage month. 5 parts of culture - art, music, dance, food and language. Looking to have some events coming up. Family members helping out at lunch and throughout the day.

Lisa Zinnel - wondering if there is any data that can be shared about trends in behavior reports declining. Behavior referrals have gone down 60% since the beginning of the year.

Stephanie Anderson - seeing less behavior issues. Came from a school where there was bullying and not experiencing that at GAP

Treasurer’s Report - Stephanie Stegeman (PTA treasurer)

Did not meet our goal of $15,000. Made $9,689. We will have continuing conversations about the budget for next year and will vote.

We are looking for a person to take the lead on the fundraising chair
