K9 CHRISTMAS DAY BOOTH (CREATIVITY)

1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Working a shift in a booth for a club that you are a member of gives you a sense of leadership. For the K9 booth, I had signed up for multiple shifts because I enjoyed this feeling. During my shift, it was all up to me to attract more people to the booth and make sure that everything was running smoothly. During my shifts, I think I was able to efficiently take care of my surroundings while welcoming guests. This made me realize that my strength comes in multitasking. However, while multitasking the different activities in the booth (selling merchandise, face painting, and informing), I realized that I didn’t know how to prioritize. To elucidate, sometimes I would prioritize attracting customers instead of working with the people currently at the booth. This is my area for growth.
