Tal'Dorei is the most populated continent in Gaia. It has a rocky and turbulent past, filled with war, peace, and everything in between. Tal'Dorei is the location in which the Great Reckonings mainly took place and as such, contains many scars and blemishes created during the battles.
Tal'Dorei is also home to a wide range of geological formations. From the rocky and jagged Cliffkeep Mountains, to the swampy marshlands of the Dustwallow Marsh, to the deep dark depths of the Underdark, Tal'Dorei's geological variety is its true selling point. Just like Caldron, Tal'Dorei is home to many relics from past civilizations, with many dating all the way back to its founding. These relics, coupled with ancient ruins of days passed, are great windows into what life was like before The Conquering, a time where dragons flew freely in the skies and The First Men were just arriving.
In the Southernmost reaches of the continent, the goblin fortress Tz'aarm grows stronger with every passing day. Their armies are ever expanding, their weapons constantly evolving; they are truly a force to be reckoned with. Despite it's beauty, Tal'Dorei houses ghastly and vile creatures that lurk in the Underdark, plotting and waiting for their moment to strike. These forces, along with the goblin and orc armies in Tz'aarm, pose a serious threat to the status quo of Tal'Dorei, and are no doubt one of the leading troubles on the forefront of the minds of all its inhabitants.
Presently, the Civil War taking place between the Northern Republic of Tal'Dorei, and the Southern kingdom, The Chroman Conclave, has reached a fever pitch as the South is leading a serious campaign marching North. This age old conflict has turned bloody as new technology has made armies more efficient killing machines. The South pushes farther into the North every day, and many thousands of lives are lost with each mile they take. Many cities have been made into factories for the war, supplying the fronts with manufactured goods, foods, and weapons. The war, without a doubt, is a huge concern for all of the continent.
Despite its political strife, Tal'Dorei is home to some breath taking cities and sites, just waiting to be explored. The beauty of this continent is truly unparalleled, and its inhabitants are some of the most unique creatures anywhere in the world.
