This page details all of the information regarding the Nomads.
Based in the Ghirel Oasis in Qarth, the Nomads are a lowly gang that mainly center around the Lesser God known as the Traveler. While not being particularly large or well-connected, these individuals essentially play pranks on the guests of the various casinos in the Oasis, mess around with some of the businessowners, and just generally meddle in the business of other people.
In recent times, however, the Nomads have began to radicalize a little more, becoming more of a cult to the Traveler. Their recently elected leader, Carson Wiles, has a grander vision for the Nomads, one that would see them become a serious gang rather than a loosely connected group of friends. Like any good gang, Carson knows that connections are everything and that a steady stream of money is required. With this in mind, Carson has recently began to venture into less legal avenues of generating coin. One particular avenue is smuggling illicit potions and magical concoctions to individuals that frequent many of the casinos.
Using a mole on the inside, either a server or bartender, these concoctions can be distributed to the guests who commissioned them, or to the targets of hits, slyly. This has proven very profitable for the Nomads, but has also put them at greater risk of being outed by the Authority and promptly dealt with.
Carson is a man of humble beginnings, having lived his life amongst the poor people of the Oasis. Surrounded by luxury and wealthy people, Carson longed for the days in which he could attend the casinos and resorts of the Oasis as a guest rather than a worker. Stumbling across a poorly managed group called the Nomads, Carson combined his vision with that of the purpose of the Nomads, and has led them ever since. With the hopes to take the Nomads to the next level, Carson has entered the group into some seriously shady businesses as of late, and some members are questioning if he has gone too far.
