Generation 2 is when I started telling more... serious stories. It's also where I developed my writing style of "mostly serious, but funny jokes every now and again." My lack of experience definitely kicked my ass here, because I had a ton of amazing and creative ideas that I didn't flesh out for one reason or another (or, in many cases, finished but screwed over BADLY because I sucked at pacing).
Also, because I tried to get into game development (basically all RPG Maker), this is the first generation where there are comics and games.
I was in middle school, so I stereotyped two teenage girls. One, who's a stereotypical white girl, and the other, a shortstack latina tomboy type. Funny enough, the original plan for Alexis was to have her ride a hoverboard everywhere, but I eventually stopped finding it funny.
Stupid name, stupid game. I just made this to learn RPG Maker MV. Also, for some reason, I put myself in a lot of Generation 2 stories, which you'll see later.
An RPG about a man with orange hair, collecting elementals and... beating more elementals. Listen, the story may not make much sense, but I still personally think it's a great way to kill a few minutes.
The sequel no one asked for. This game has new features like new kingdoms, playable Justhin, and the trope of 'villain from previous title returns with no explanation.' Hey, Danganronpa did it too, but at least I was 13 and later realized how stupid that is.
Finally, a main character that isn't me! Uncovered is about Alex, who got isekai'd and has to save the world from... oh, it's not a demon king. It's the Shadow Lord, a cult leader who aims to revive an ancient, ultra-powerful magic user.
A crossover comic where I end up in my own imagination. This one only got around 20 pages in, but a remake was created for Generation 3.
This might be my favorite Gen 2 story. I never got too far in making it, but it had loads of charm and was seeming like it was going to be a fun story. I honestly wouldn't mind eventually remaking it.
Failed attempt at making another slice-of-life moment. There was also a demon girl there for some reason, who I decided to put in only because I made a demon girl OC and I hate having one-off character designs that do nothing.
An Uncovered sequel taking place 100 years later, starring Alex and Emily's great-granddaughter.
This is where me naming characters after music began, though it was a bit less subtle back then. Also "villain who always comes back" syndrome is hard here.
A comic with every Generation 2 'good guy' going up against every Generation 2 'bad guy.' I made this after deciding I wanted to reset everything Gen 2, and so I knew how I wanted this to end.
