Nightmare

Appearance

In Dreamscape, Nightmare's design is a floating, ghastly figure. This design was infamously unfinalized. In Holy War, in an attempt to convince the Shadow Lord to form an alliance, he takes on a more humanoid appearance.

Personality

Nightmare feeds off of negativity, and as such, feels confident in his ability to win any battle he may find himself in. His overconfidence and arrogance are also tools used to anger his enemies and get them off their guard, which works especially well on Brandon, due to his impulsive nature.

History

Nightmare manifested as the ultimate form that a dream demon can take, due to rising negativity in the world. When he is defeated, dream demons can still "spawn", but their numbers are significantly less.
