Summer was initially planned to be the protagonist of her own story, which would've begun sometime after Sam & Alexis ended, but before Dreamscape began. Not many details are known about this story, though it was planned to be a coming-of-age story of sorts. Summer is the first Gaboza character to be considered 'cancelled', despite her appearances in both In Your Imagination! (2016) and In Your Imagination! (Remake).

During In Your Imagination! (Remake), Summer seizes the creation crown and gathers all three generational artifacts, eventually becoming Verana.

Appearance

Summer is a tall teenage girl with an athletic build. She's usually depicted in a short-sleeve V-neck T-shirt. Her hair is canonically supposed to be ombré, but due to limitations in Gaboza's art style at the time, it appears blonde.

Personality

As is the case with many Generation 2 characters (and Gaboza characters in general), Summer is energetic and quick to crack a joke. She gets along with other characters in the Imagination Hub pretty well, interacting with many people of many different backgrounds.

When Summer seizes the creation crown, she immediately becomes extremely goal-driven, almost as if her previous personality was a facade.

History

Despite Summer seemingly being levelheaded and okay with Gaboza, she ends up taking the Creation Crown in the fight against Sam in In Your Imagination! (Remake) Summer is the main antagonist of In Your Imagination! (Remake).

She bests Fatman, Necessary Evil, and Carolina in battle, attaining all three artifacts and becoming Verana, an omnipotent being with complete control over the multiverse.

As Verana, she reboots Generation 3's Flipside into Generation 4's universe and sends Gaboza home. Some time after this, she notices the universe she created is still and unmoving (likely due to her lack of experience). She creates a copy of her new universe, as well as the creation crown, and resides in the copy with Gilbert as her significant other. She calls Gaboza back to the new universe, leaving the crown on a pedestal with all (now four) of the artifacts inside, as well as a note explaining the events.

Following the events of In Your Imagination! (Remake), Summer (as Verana) has to go back in time to help herself win against Necessary Evil and Carolina in order to keep her universe.

Trivia

Summer is the first Gaboza character to be officially 'cancelled'.
While Summer's age isn't explicitly stated in In Your Imagination! (Remake), she's able to be seduced by Gilbert near the end of [S] Clash. Gilbert's ability to seduce women contains the requirement that they must be at least 18.
