The Gaboza Lore, sometimes also referred to as the Intergenerational Lore, serves as the bridge connecting every (canon) story that has ever been made. Every story is intrinsically connected, even wildly different ones such as Quest to not be bored! and Second Chance- though the connection between stories isn't necessary to enjoy a story on its own; in fact, sometimes it just doesn't make sense. That's why this information isn't publicized, and instead, something I keep note of in my head.
Generation 1, starting strong with its weird and outlandish nature in The Cuckoo Guy, established one very important facet of the intergenerational lore- the imagination space, aka the universe where every Gaboza story takes place. All of these stories take place in the same world, and since there's not much lore to them, this section can be kept brief.
Sam & Alexis marks the first time a story was made with the intent to be separate from everything that precedes it. It doesn't take place in the imagination space; rather in a more real, tangible world that's a carbon copy of the real universe in many ways. The imagination space isn't normally accessible, and can only be reached by current-generation characters who have died, or any past-generation characters.
In Gabriel's Quest, the Demon King that was previously defeated 1,000 years prior in Quest to not be bored! returns, only to be slain again. He returns another time only a mere 2 years later, in Gabriel's Quest 2, before finally being put to rest once and for all. Or so it seemed. The Demon King, as any deceased character would, gained access to the imagination space. Surprisingly, nothing seemingly evil was done here, and he eventually used his powers to create Lumine, who was sent to the real world automatically (due to not being deceased or from a past generation). The Demon King was able to create Lumine due to there being no one that upholds the rules of a generation, or the imagination hub yet.
After finding out about Lumine, Gaboza (a canon version of him, at least) makes the Creation Crown, an item heavily guarded and hidden in the imagination space, only to be worn by him. The reason creation powers exist in the form of headwear is due to the event that Gaboza has to pass on his stories to someone else, they can don the crown and continue the stories.
Then, the events of In Your Imagination! (2016) begin, where it's found Sam from Sam & Alexis took the crown. Gaboza, Alexis, and Summer, among others, are eventually caught by Sam in an unwinnable battle, where Gaboza uses the last of his lingering imagination to prevent the story from happening. However, this power ends up not being enough, and just delays the inevitable. More on that later.
Finally, after the events of SuperSongs, with the main villain finally put down, he makes his way into the imagination space. Again, due to there being no one around to check a villain's power, he goes around, gathering the main antagonists of every Generation 2 story, eventually kicking off the events of Holy War.
In Holy War's final battle, Necessary Evil is able to kill the new versions of Unity, Sonic Blaster, Magic Touch, and Freedom Dive (the ones that time travelled from their respective parts to take part in Holy War). He gets into a fight with Sky Fracture, who inhereted the powers of the canon versions of Unity, Sonic Blaster, Magic Touch, and Freedom Dive. They both use flashy abilities in this final battle, but Sky Fracture starts to lose. As a final gambit, she uses her ultimate ability, which boosted to 500%, cracks the sky. The two keep fighting, and the concentration of power along with the cracked sky basically forces the universe to reboot. This leads to...
13.7 billion years before Strings of Fate takes place... Gaboza realizes that there weren't any ways to check the powers in the universe- and creates a way to do so. Carolina, the God Channeler of Life, as well as the first member of her species, is created. She watches over the universe, maintaining balance and trying to stop incidents like Holy War from occurring again. Her abilities are primarily focused on defending and capturing, with a lack of focus on attack power in the event a God Channeler becomes evil. More on their abilities are available on the God Channeler page.
The events of Soul Strike occur first, between the Earth years of 1999 and 2005. Then, the events of Strings of Fate happen in 2019, with Tokyo Takedown taking place in 2023, and Equinox and Second Chance taking place in 2028. Strings of Fate, Equinox, and Second Chance all happen on the same Earth, in the same timeline, with Equinox and Second Chance taking place concurrently.
The Generation 3 universe has a unique feature called The Flipside, which is an alternate dimension. The Flipside is where the Gaboza's Killing Game stories happen, excluding Gaboza's Killing Game: Ivy League, which was materializing in the imagination hub but wasn't fully finalized.
Generation 3 is far more self-contained than Generation 2, but both end in similar climactic crossover events; with Generation 3's being In Your Imagination! (Remake), which starts off at the same point as its 2016 counterpart, but continues far past it.
Generation 4 is unique in many ways, including its universe's inception. For example, the Generation 4 universe is the first one to be created without the previous generation's universe ceasing to exist. Instead, the two technically run concurrently, with Generation 4 only being a reboot of Generation 3's flipside.
