Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1/2 lb chicken, cut into pieces
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
6 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp fish sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fried garlic and green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Sauté garlic, onion, and ginger in a pot until fragrant.
Add the chicken and cook until browned.
Add the rice and broth, then simmer until the rice is cooked and the porridge is thick.
Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Garnish with fried garlic and green onions.
