Ingredients:
1 kg chicken or pork, cut into serving pieces
1 large onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp peppercornsa
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp cooking oil
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Combine soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaf in a bowl. Add the meat and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In a large pan, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
Add the marinated meat along with the marinade and bring to a simmer.
Add water and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the meat is tender.
Season with salt and adjust vinegar and soy sauce to taste.
