Lesson 32: The Riemann Mapping Theorem

Preview

Today we’ll finish our study of linear fractional transformations. In Module I we’ll extend their definition to fill in the missing point in their range. We’ll then study them as mappings (Module II), which will lead us to ask if there is always a mapping between two given domains D and D'. The Riemann Mapping Theorem will provide an answer to this question in certain cases (Module III).
