These are the concept designs that I did for our busy mums page for the Andrew Grant digital magazine.
Wireframes:
Again like on the pervious pages, these wireframes are all very similar to one another as the pages all need to flow and have the same structure to be consistent throughout the magazine. What is similar about the first wireframe is that the title is again not centre page and overlaps the image. Differently I have not chosen to have a horizontal image, instead a vertical one, this making it a different composition that may be a good tool to keep the readers attention as they are going through the pages. I thought this image could be a warming image related to the mother and her children, in order to create a reaction from the audience and make them want to look more into the content on the page. The next two wireframes follow the same patterns as the pervious pages with lost of imagery and less text and therefore making it more visually appealing and easy to look at.
Digital Mock Ups
The digital mock ups of the wireframes worked out well I thought, the design on the left may be more effective due to the image at the top of the page is more enticing and warming and also welcoming that the top of the design on the right. However both formats work well with the page, but the design on the right may be too text heavy and therefore might be less appealing to the user.
