In the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, typical electron tubes used for research and education have been stored in student laboratories. As a result of the investigation so far, it was found that the stored electron tubes were researched and developed in the 1910s and 1960s. In many cases, information on the development history, applications, characteristics, etc. of these electron tubes is unknown, and investigations are still ongoing.
This web site introduces the electron tubes that are exhibited at the HASEKO-KUMA HALL now, at the end of January, 2020. In addition, we will introduce other electron tubes that have been stored on this site. However, the current site is written in Japanese. The English version site is under preparation.
