This site is about where we get energy for life, how we use it, replenish and accumulate it. Do you need to know this? Decide for yourself. Does even superficial understanding of such things give you anything? Maybe yes, but to find out what exactly and if it gives you anything at all is only possible with at least some understanding of what is described here. So, if you do not want to bother, shut this site down at once and find something entertaining. Besides, information on this site is not strictly scientific (it does not contradict science, but it is very simplified). Is it worth spending your time? It is up to you.
You are still on this site? OK, it's your choice.
Many of you have heard about the epidemic of obesity that has taken over the world. And also about the epidemics of type two diabetes (it's about only type two diabetes, not about type one diabetes), dementia among the elderly, and cardiovascular disorders even in rather young people (including myocardial infarction and brain strokes) And also cancer that catches up with cardiovascular diseases. And allergy, which is a too powerful reaction of the weakened immune system (A strong reaction of the weak system – how can this be possible?). There was nothing like this. Only 70 years ago, there was not. Well, all that existed, but did not have the scales of epidemics. Something important must have happened to cause such strong changes.
Of course, there are lots of explanations. It's because of stress and low physical activity. It's because of availability of food, which causes us eat too much, – we are told. But there were enough stresses in life earlier, perhaps, even more than now. And a considerable number of people did not have to be particularly physically active. And there was enough food, though, not for everyone and not always.
We are also told that there are more harmful factors – environmental problems, pesticides, radiation... Yes, but harmful factors, though of different origins, have always been around. Imagine the ecology of a medieval city with sewage gutters right along the streets and with water brought in barrels from who knows what sources, and who knows for how long those barrels have not been washed and cleaned. Even ionizing radiation in some areas was rather high, and in mountains, where people also lived, it was too high, according to moderns standards. To obtain yellow glass for stained-glass windows or yellow pigment for paints, people often used uranium oxide – nobody knew that natural uranium contains radioactive isotopes, up until the beginning of the 20th century. And even non-radioactive uranium is poisonous, as it is a heavy metal. And still, obesity was not rife, heart attacks happened rarely and almost exclusively in old people, and oncological diseases were rare, and type two diabetes was very rare.
So, these explanations explain nothing. But what explains? Let us keep this question open. Try to understand what is written here (if you want). Maybe, you will come to your own conclusions.
And also these questions. How to lose weight? Is it necessary to lose it? Why do those who try to lose it rarely succeed and quickly gain it back? Is it possible to cure type two diabetes? You know answers to these questions and know that "they do not work". Therefore, we will not provide them. Learn and seek your own answers.
Important! No one promises you anything. That you will lose your weight, improve your health or prolong your life – none of these. Even that you will understand something here and make your own conclusion, is not guaranteed. This depends on you. So, close this site. Or click here and start learning.
